Laplink announced today the release of ShareDirect Preview Edition. ShareDirect transforms the file manager (Windows Explorer) on any Windows 2000/XP/2003 PC into a powerful and secure P2P file sharing application. ShareDirect allows users to easily share any folder on their PC directly with other authorized ShareDirect users over the Internet or any TCP/IP network connection, requiring absolutely no firewall or networking configuration.
With built in 256-bit encryption and Laplink Antivirus, shared files are always protected. With only a few clicks of a mouse, users can begin building their own private, secure and trusted folder sharing network with colleagues, friends and family.
